interesting place to visit and very quiet (in October). Hotel has the prime position.

Great location and view from the room. Seafood was excellent. Some fish I had never heard of but very tasty. Comprehensive breakfast and lunch pack (at extra cost)

in Brief: we should have stayed longer

We had rooms facing the cold and fresh Atlantic Ocean with tides, which is really eye-relaxing after driving through dried deserts. Especially with the full moon mirroring at the water it is georgeous. The sound from the ocean is the perfect white noise for your Tinnitus, if you have one. The hotel is located slightly outside the city centre and is therefor very quiet. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with information and booking of activites. Breakfast we had at the hotel and could not try all possible options, since simply too much is on offer for breakfast. We ate out for dinner, at the Portuguese Fisherman (yummy seafood and house wine). Since Lüderitz is an interesting, historical loaded place with Shark Island's rather grimm history, short walking distances and Kolmanskop not too far off, we should have stayed another night. Will do so next time. Recommendation: definitely; Value for money: good

Overall good experience.

The reception was friendly and informative. The food served at the restaurant is top-class, and highly recommended. Loved the ocean view from our room. The beds were comfortable. The goodnight note on your pillow is a nice touch - liked it.

The service at the restaurant! During our stay, there was one waitress who was friendly, the other staff made you feel like they doing you a favour by serving you. If the food didn't make up for the lack of service/ sour faces I would have suggested going elsewhere. The pillows are soft, you should look into replacing them.

The views were exceptional. The rooms are comfortable and clean, although not brand new. Dinner was a delight, especially the seafood.

Grandious view in Luederitzz.

Nice view from my room window, super bed, clean room and super breakfeast and meals. WLAN was for an hotel in Africa super.

Value for money this place was shocking.

Value for money this place was shocking..... I think we were put into a broom cupboard ... Shower in the bath, and water all over the place..... Very disappointed , as our friends stayed at kairos cottage for half the price and much much better accommodation.... The staff at the breakfast sour and unhappy, the so called wifi never worked in the rooms, so do not understand why it is advertised as such... Overall.... Very disappointing, and would not recommend this hotel, or stay at this hotel again....

Entrance is hidden Carpets filthy. Check-in staff had attitude when we complained about mess-up with booking. Room small and disorganised furniture.

Despite it's failings, this is probably still the best...

Despite it's failings, this is probably still the best option in Lüderitz. The hotel has a nice location overlooking the water and the extensive breakfast buffet is excellent.

Upon arrival there was a mix up with our booking. We had a confirmation for a hotel with a balcony and we were put in a closet without one. The explanation from the hotel was that they had a full check out that morning and all the rooms weren't finished yet (it was 4pm). We then had to wait in the bar area for more than an hour until the room was made ready for us. Two days later the room wasn't made up all day and I had to go remind reception at 6pm. It seems to me that this is a hotel which is trying to bite off more than it can chew.

All the B&B where we was in Namibia was all more beautiful and cheaper than Nest. Food was so so.

Why would a person book a dubble room if you are single.I booked through safari. com a dubble room but you reply and booked it for 1 person,I then had to pay the difference when i came there. Must say was not happy at all .
